[T]echnology: Sayonara CRMs
Google put out another banger!
And it might be the beginning of the end for traditional CRMs.
I am not exaggerating. I am not being dramatic. This is genuinely another holy sh*t moment. 🤯
Here is the truth nobody likes to admit. CRMs only exist because humans forget things. We lose track of people. We miss follow ups. We promise to circle back, and then life taps us on the shoulder. CRMs were invented to cover our blind spots and scale communication because our brains simply cannot keep up.
Workspace Studio basically said…cool, we will handle that. 😎
Instead of forcing you into another platform that you will forget to open anyway, it runs inside the tools you already live in. Gmail. Calendar. Drive. Sheets. Chat. Add an AI that reads your contracts, organizes your inbox, reminds you who to call, pulls tasks out of emails, and drafts your updates…and suddenly CRMs feel like Blockbuster in a streaming world.
Workspace Studio reads your buyer agreements and listing packets. It extracts deadlines automatically. It builds task lists. It organizes your files. It watches your inbox for new leads, drafts replies, and schedules follow ups. It creates weekly client updates. It taps you on the shoulder when you forget someone. And here is the part every agent needs to let sink in. This replaces ninety percent of the work a transaction coordinator does. 🤷
The best part…No new system. No new login. No weekend sacrificed to some clunky setup wizard. You just work exactly the way you already do. The AI cleans up the chaos behind you. 🧹
This is the dream agents have had for years. Real automation. Real organization. Real follow up. All inside the tools you are already using every single day.
The future of real estate operations just changed. And honestly…the CRM is not the only thing that should be nervous.

[E]ducation: NAR Changes
There’s been a lot of talk about the MLS rule changes, and a lot of people jumped straight to “Sweet, we don’t need to be members anymore!” which… isn’t actually how it works. ❌
The new policy simply gives local associations the option to offer MLS access without requiring membership. It’s not automatic. It’s not universal. And if your broker is a member, guess what… you’re a member too. So nothing really changes for most agents.
And here’s the bigger point. Even if the door is technically cracked open in some markets, brokers aren’t exactly lining up to reinvent the wheel.
Nobody wants the liability of drafting their own purchase contract. 📝
Nobody wants fifteen different inspection contingencies floating around town.
Nobody wants a seller asking “Is this even legal?” while you’re trying to decode a contract that looks like it came off ChatGPT’s evil twin.
Standardized forms exist for a reason. They protect consumers. They protect agents.
They keep the entire transaction from turning into the wild west. So even with the policy shift, this isn’t a moment where everyone suddenly jumps ship. 🚢 It’s more of a reminder of the value the association already brings behind the scenes.
And if you look at NAR’s new strategic plan, it’s all focused on things like professionalism, legal protections, clarity, and strengthening tools for members. Nothing in there hints at walking away from the ecosystem we already rely on. It actually reinforces it.
So yes, policies are evolving. But no, we’re not packing our bags. The association still provides tremendous value, and the alternative sounds like chaos wrapped in liability wrapped in more chaos.

[C]oaching: I love being lazy.
I love it when I find a video that resonates with me, and the latest video from Codie Sanchez (who is incredible), gave me all the feels. 🙂
I am going to be honest with you. I love being lazy. I always have.
Not to sit on the couch all day lazy, but the kind where I constantly look for the easiest way to do the hardest things. The kind where I ask myself, “How do I get the maximum result with the least amount of friction?”
When I started my REMAX at 23, I had no idea what I was doing. None. Zero. I was way too young, way too inexperienced, and surrounded by people who were pretty sure I was going to fall flat on my face. But my brother told me one thing that changed my entire life. It was simple. Wake up every day and ask yourself: How are you going to make money today? 💸
That became my entire operating system. I did not know the business. I did not have a playbook. I just kept showing up trying to outwork the version of me from yesterday. And yeah, there was a little part of me that wanted to prove the doubters wrong and give them a friendly middle finger along the way…but something else was happening that I did not recognize at the time.
I was accidentally surrounding myself with A players. With mentors. With people who had already done what I wanted to do. I was the kid in the room trying to figure it out while quietly absorbing 🧠 everything from the people who were ten steps ahead of me. I did not have a strategy language for it back then, but the truth is simple. Proximity is performance. You cannot sit next to greatness day after day and not pick up the habits, the mindset, the ambition.
And honestly, looking back, that is one of the biggest reasons our agents at REMAX Victory and Affiliates average more than $120k+ a year. It is not because we recruit superhumans. It is because ambition is contagious. High standards are contagious. Winning is contagious. When you put yourself in a room full of people who do not settle, you stop settling too. ❌
Here is the real lesson from the video and from my own story…
You can love being lazy. You can love shortcuts. You can love making your life easier. That is fine. That is human. But do not be average. Average is the real disease. Average is what keeps you stuck. Average is what pulls you down 30% the same way the research says toxic people do.
Lazy is not the problem. Wrong environment is the problem. 👍
So if you want to change your life, do not try to become some superhero of discipline. Start by stealing other people’s ambition. Get in better rooms. Study people who already have the results you want. Outwork your past self. Prove the doubters wrong. And for the love of everything… do not be average!
