[T]echnology: Choose Manus

I’ve spent the last few Tech With Ty emails hyping up Claude. Still true. Claude is ridiculous. Clawdbot is too.

They’re just a pain in the ass to use. 😭

Claude in Chrome keeps crashing my browser, and Clawdbot is a nightmare to set up.

This isn’t about what AI can do.

It’s about what actually gets done between meetings.

Most agents don’t need more power.

They need less friction.

That’s where Manus keeps winning for me.

Manus doesn’t feel like setting something up.

It feels like asking for something and getting it back.

That matters when you’ve got five minutes before a listing appointment or you’re already running late and the seller hits you with a what if.

Instead of explaining scenarios, you build something.

Instead of arguing opinions, you show outcomes.

That’s when trust shows up. 🤝

Seller asks: “What happens if it doesn’t sell?”

Most agents explain timelines and averages.

The better move is opening a tool.

Click the link above…this was my prompt: Build a simple interactive page that shows a seller three scenarios for their home. Sell now at the current price. Reduce the price after 30 days. Rent for one year, then sell. Include estimated net proceeds and timeline differences. Let's pretend they want to list a current price of $599,000. Reduce to $585,000 after a month. or rent for a year.

Nothing fancy. Just numbers, timelines, and clarity. (Yes, I did have to add in a prompt about holding costs, but I digress)

You’re no longer guessing out loud.

You’re walking them through options.

This earns trust. 🤝

No one leaves thinking you used AI.

They leave thinking you’re prepared.

That’s the difference between sounding smart and looking like an expert.

If you want to use AI to earn trust, stop asking it to explain things.

Ask it to build something you can put in front of a client.

That’s the superpower. ⭐

[E]ducation: Speaking of Experts

For 156 weeks in a row, I’ve given you education. 🎓

Today I’m giving you homework. 🖊️

If you want to become an expert in (insert your niche or whatever you want to learn), go to Manus and tell it:

I want to become an expert in ________________. Can you help me create an online course I can take? Find actual examples of YouTube videos.

You may have to fiddle with the prompt a little and refine it to your taste, but OMG this is incredible.

Now go become the expert. 🧠

[H]ow To: Navigate TikTok’s New Terms Of Service

TikTok has been officially sold to a new company, and many users were greeted with fun new terms of service that they had to agree to. What does this mean for you? ⬇️⬇️

One term they’ve added is that your content is now open for TikTok to use however they want. You still own your content, but TikTok can use your videos however they like. Even if the content is deleted, they still have access to it. 📹

I think this is an important reminder that on most platforms, the platform you are posting on does have a lot of control over your content. Instagram actually has very similar terms of use already. Nevertheless, people are starting to look at these new terms and are deciding to leave the platform entirely, especially after all the glitches.

I’ve seen many new platforms try to take its place, but so far none are sticking, in my opinion. People still love TikTok. But one day, I do think there will be a very similar platform that causes people to move away from the app, similar to what happened with Vine after it went down.

At the end of the day, these platforms are not ours. They allow us to build our names, our brands, and promote our faces for “free,” but everything has a cost. 💸 The cost here is that you don’t have ultimate control over your content or your account. If one day TikTok decided to shut down, you would have no control over that.

That’s why I always stress the importance of never putting all your eggs in one basket. 🪺 Post on at least 2–3 different platforms and continue to nurture them, so you’re never in the position of having to kiss the thousands of followers you’ve built goodbye if that day does come.
