🤖 [T]echnology: Microsoft Who?
🎓 [E]ducation/Entertainment: Speed Tours
💪[C]oaching: Attention to Detail
📹 [H]ow To: Create a Perfect LinkedIn Profile

[T]echnology:

As you know, I’ve been working on perfecting an AI avatar to create content on demand with the press of a button. 🔘👇

As an Apple user, I may give them a bit of grief, but damn…

Microsoft just released VASA-1 which can create an AI avatar from a SINGLE PHOTO.

The realism is uncanny, and the natural mannerisms are incredible. 👍

When I say we’re less than six months from being able to generate unlimited content 100% using AI, I’m encouraging you to come up with a game plan to implement this into your business. If you’re not, someone else is, and they’re going to be producing 50 pieces of content a day. 🤯

I mentioned Gary Vee’s “Day Trading Attention” last week. Who do you think wins the attention game with 50x pieces of content per day? I know it sounds like overkill, but you’re not insulting anyone when you’re posting. It still needs to be valuable content, but if they’re not interested, they’ll just keep scrolling. 🤷

If they find just one of your pieces of content valuable, you’ve won.

[E]ducation:

Speaking of day trading attention, this guy gets it: ⬇️⬇️

Instead of your typical boring home tour, he’s made it engaging.

Trent has racked up nearly 10M views and 74k followers on Instagram alone. 👏

The best part, this isn’t a high production video and didn’t cost a fortune.

It may not be your cup of tea, but figure out what is and make it your own.

[C]oaching:

I had the luxury of spending the first half of this week at the Sanctuary Golf Course in Colorado. ⛳

This is a private golf course that is invite-only, owned by the one and only Dave Liniger, founder of RE/MAX.

This is the most beautiful golf course in the country, and you can’t convince me otherwise.

But it’s not just the surreal setting with picturesque mountains in the background. It’s the experience. ☀️

In fact, the tournament is called the RE/MAX Experience.

I’ve talked about creating a 5-star customer experience, but from the staff to the food, this is a 7-star experience.

After our round, I noticed one of the workers hand-picking weeds and aerating the area just outside the 18th green.

It’s this attention to detail that makes this experience one to learn from and imitate…one that is memorable enough to write a section of this email about. 🤷

What are you doing for your clients to make their experience memorable?

Figure that out, and you won’t need to make speed video tours. It will be an experience they’ll make sure to tell their sphere about, and that’s the best referral you can imagine.

Yes, I’m talking about LinkedIn again. I just can’t get over the fact that no realtors use LinkedIn. Whenever I meet with real estate agents about social media help or services, the platform never even gets brought up. 🤯 I would argue it is more important to have than any other social platform. Why? Your perfect audience is there. Clients who make money are taking their careers seriously, potentially shifting jobs, and are on the move. ALSO, you are a professional and YOU take your career seriously, so you should have one. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Okay, so let's make you a profile or spruce up the one you already have

  • Have a current headshot. I know it sucks, but your client is going to figure out what you look like eventually, so toss out that 80’s glamour shot, please. 🗑️

  • Is your professional experience relevant and up to date?

  • Relate your background image to real estate.

  • Gather endorsements or recommendations.

  • Add all awards, accomplishments, specialties, etc.

Once your profile is set up, start adding people: friends, family, anyone you have a working relationship with, even some randos in your area that you have a mutual connection with. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Expand your audience even further by joining relevant groups related to your area or hobbies.

Now, what do you post? LinkedIn is very different from any other platform. I’m not on LinkedIn to see dog photos or your child’s prom; I’m there strictly for business purposes. 👔 How is so-and-so’s career going? What is this company up to? What are other companies doing on social media? People are there to network; they aren’t messing around. That means no fluff ☁️; get to the point. Talk about the market, interest rates, and what you are seeing this summer. Give any helpful financial tips, and shout out lenders, electricians, or anyone else who helped you out on a deal. But, keep it strictly business.

Now, that isn’t to say you shouldn’t post some fun stuff. Did you have a client event that went well? Post that. Did something funny happen to you while you were showing a house today? Post that. Keep it strictly related to the job. 🏡 You can post your adorable kids and dog on Facebook.

One last thing that I’m sure will make all of your days better: VIDEO. You thought you could escape video on LinkedIn? WRONG. They are actually testing out short-form videos very similar to Reels and TikTok.

So, get ready for yet another platform to post videos on. 😭📹
